The Blue Cave is a rare natural phenomenon located on the eastern side of the island of Biševo, one of the most remote Croatian islands. What makes the Blue Cave special are the sun's rays that pass through its underwater opening, illuminating its interior and the sea within with an unearthly blue and silver light. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the reflection of sea rays from the white bottom of the cave illuminates the cave in blue, while the water in it takes on the color of liquid silver.
Komiža is hidden deep in the largest bay of the island of Vis, which protects the town from the cold north winds. Komiža easily gets under the skin thanks to the picturesque surroundings at the foot of Mount Hum, untouched nature, narrow streets of the old town and crystal clear sea. The movie Mamma Mia! was filmed on the shores of Vis. Here We Go Again, which helped spread the word about him outside of Croatia. In 2019, the island of Vis and its archipelago made it to the UNSECO list of geoparks.
Stiniva bay on the island of Vis is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia and one of the must-see places. In 1967, Stiniva Beach, together with the bay, was declared a protected natural monument. It is assumed that the bay of Stiniva was once a cave whose ceiling collapsed a long time ago, and what remains of the cave today are the massive limestone walls that surround and protect the bay. Dark blue, crystal clear water with rich marine life makes the bay of Stiniva a perfect place for diving or simply swimming on a beautiful pebble beach while enjoying the natural beauty of untouched Croatian nature.
The town of Hvar is not without reason the busiest island destination in Croatia. The island of Hvar is the longest and sunniest Croatian island, bathed in more than 2,700 hours of sunshine, or 115 days a year. The town of Hvar is like a mixture of St. Tropez and traditional Mediterranean culture, full of history and Venetian architecture. Hvar will not disappoint you, regardless of whether you are looking for a cozy place to have lunch or want to get lost in the many stone streets that the city hides.
Paklinski Islands (or Pakleni Islands) are a collection of limestone islands and islets that are only a short boat ride away from the town of Hvar. The Pakleni Islands are an unmissable destination for everyone who sails in the waters of central Dalmatia. This one stands out as one of the best places for diving in the Adriatic thanks to the almost perfect clarity of the sea and rich marine life.
Palmižana beach is located on the island of Sveti Klement, an uninhabited island that is part of the Pakleni otok archipelago and where cars are prohibited. Palmižana beach is the most popular destination on the Pakleni islands thanks to the sandy seabed, shallow sea and lush vegetation that surrounds it. Due to the white color of the sand and the immense clarity of the water, the color of the sea changes and goes from the green it takes on from the surrounding pine trees to the blue it takes on from the sky above.
Mlini Beach, located on the eastern side of Marinkovac island, is well hidden in a protected bay surrounded by a dense forest of cypress and pine trees.
